SNAKE was shot in fall 2001, on 35mm, predominantly in black and white. It is a fast paced story, driven by performance, supported by a fluid but structured shooting style.

SNAKE was written and directed by Andy Serkis, who has worked extensively as an actor in film, theatre and television. Andy has previously co-directed the short film Ride (with Lorraine Ashbourne). Other projects in development include Frankly My Dear (original feature screenplay co-written with Lorraine Ashbourne), The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists (Feature co-produced with Paul Viragh) and The Manor (Feature screenplay by Matthew Michael).
