With the animators and technicians of Weta in New Zealand, Andy has advanced the art of "performance capture," where an actor's movements and expressions are electronically tracked and translated into computer generated imagery (CGI) to bring a film character to life.
So far he has provided the acting for CGI characters Gollum in The Lord of the Rings, Kong in King Kong, and the King in Heavenly Sword.
