Director

In addition to acting, Andy Serkis is an accomplished director.   He is now filming in New Zealand as 2nd Unit Director of The Hobbit for Peter Jackson.  Other directing projects include:

Andy  is also planning to direct feature films including Kurt Weill's The Three-Penny Opera (with music by Nick Cave) and Freezing Time (based on the life of pioneering photographer Eadweard Muybridge.)
